This was my first experience using moulds as an aid for glassblowing. I used an interchangeable mould to be able to produce stacking forms. Looking at the idea of tension and potential energy, I experimented with methods of attachment.
The sandblasted piece is balanced and not UV glued which gives the potential for the top piece to slide off if the weight
becomes unbalanced.
This project was key in bringing my practice to where it is today.
