Benjamin Cohen at the ‘Fold Gallery’

His exhibition, ‘Something that isn’t’ combines various mediums, creating a brilliant mix of architecture, presenting ideas of memory and how place can have such an influence on our lives.

The casting of corbels particularly interests me, looking at the sentiment attached to old architecture and taking a traditional practice and adding a contemporary aspect. As well as this, combining human, organic additions to the structures continues the presentation of body and place being one.
